Coach parking and drop offs
Chester welcomes coaches and created a network of pick up and drop off points around the city as shown on the map.
The main coach park in the city is located at the Little Roodee Car Park located between the Castle and Grosvenor Bridge. Here you’ll find a coach arrival facility with fully accessible toilets/baby change, visitor information, and a café providing free drinks for coach drivers. There are CCTV security cameras covering the site.
Café opening times: 9am-4pm (Monday-Friday), 10am-4pm (Saturday-Sunday); toilets open until 4.30pm.

NB: the main coach park is closed in the week that Chester Races take place in early May.
Please contact us for advice and guidance as we are currently discussing with the Council alternative places to park for coaches during this period.
Parking charges are detailed on the Council website and pay-and- display ticket machines are located near the café.
The machines also have an option to pay for a £10 ticket which allows entry and exit throughout the day.
